So long, Farewell...
Time is an issue
We, humans love to take things for granted. We have neighbors whom we hardly go up and say a HELLO...why?
The explanation is, "They live next to my house, I can go anytime so, why bother now."
We have dear friends who are quite a distance from our house but again when it comes to meeting them...we don't have TIME. Why?
The explanation is, "Oh, we are so busy and we have so many other things to take care of thus, can't find the time."
We live in a city which attracts tourists in millions every year but unfortunately have not seen the landmarks ourself.
The explanation is, "Oh, this is my city. I can go visit those landmarks anytime."
Time...Time...Time.
For all the above excuses and reasons we blame TIME. I have written a hub on Time. Hope you enjoy it.
- Is it TIME yet?
When we have kids traveling with us they are so excited to reach the destination that the above statement is uttered at least a gazillion times. You try to keep them entertained with books, board games, DVD's,...
What is TIME?
Time sure does not wait up for anybody. Infact, we should learn to priortize things since; that will help us make the best use of Time. We feel it more when our close friends are planning to move out and start a new life someplace else. That's when it hits us...BANG!
Wish we had more time to spend with them since visiting them locally we did not have time now visiting them to a new place would be out of question!
We start to feel all sentimental and start off with Farewell parties. We put everything on a To-Do list and try to make memories within those 2 months of their moving so that we have something to hang on to. That makes everyone exhausted by the end of it.
Why do we overburden ourselves and tax ourselves out?
Something to ponder upon:
We teach our children to plan out things but, they never learn. I guess now we realize why.
Children learn from their parents and when, we as parents foster such good methods then why will the chidren take pains in learning what; they are routinely nagged about.
So partying and socializing almost every day we bid so long farewell to our friends and wish them luck and happiness in their new journey of life.
Goodbye my friends and I will miss you dearly. However, Thank God for Technology such as Skype, Facebook, Chats; distances will seem small.
