A Tale of 2 Girls

Updated on January 7, 2012

I had written a hub on "How can I find my Look-a-like?" Mentioned ways to go about finding our look-a-like.

Link pasted below.

It is said that every person born on this planet has a look-a-like. How many have you been able to find yours?

This is a tale of 2 girls who look a liked, found each other and created a revolution.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a tale of 2 girls

Born on the same day and time to two different parents

On two different poles of the planet

One girl born in a seven star hospital of an urban city

The second girl born in a rural area

Both the parents are equally delighted.

The girls are named Kanak (means Gold)

Both are precious of their parent's eyes

Brought up by their parents in their own special way

Girls grow up and destiny makes them meet

First girl is clad in the best of attire and adorned with gold as her name suggests

Second girl is in rags

Both girls have the innocence on their faces and their eyes sparkle like gold

When they meet

They look at each other with curiosity

They were mirror images of each other

But with different attires

They smile and connect instantly.

For fun sake they exchange their attire

Little did they know that their worlds would become apart by this?

First girl, dressed in rags goes to the village

Second girl, dressed in the finest of attire goes to the city.

Both love the new life and try to bring about a change in their surroundings.

Girl in rags brings modernization to the rural area

The society goes through industrialization, urbanization and other social changes

Girl in riches brings solidarity and contentment to the city

The society unites on various reforms and policies.

Revolution is brought about!

Girls are overjoyed and now miss their past.

They tell the truth to the elders

And are transported back to their original surroundings.

Ever ponder, when we meet our look-a-like?

What change will we bring around?
