A cell phone has become a necessity in our life.
Why?
Because we use it for all kinds of purposes:
- Store contact information
- Make tasks or To-Do lists
- Keep Track of appointments and Set Reminders
- Use it as a Calculator
- Use it as an Alarm Clock Send or receive emails
- Get information such as news, stock quotes, entertainment from the internet Play Games
- Watch our daily shows
- Send Text messages
- Integrate other devices such as PDA, MP3 players and GPS receivers
- Can be used as a watch on our wrist
- Can even be worn as eye glasses
Thanks to all the cell phone tower the companies are installing everywhere. We have coverage of our cell phone technology and are connected to mankind. We have brought this mini gadget everywhere, and all walks of life are seen carrying it around them.
We started off with something so simple such as staying in touch with a person when in need, but we have landed up with high-tech capabilities with a small phone.
Wow, men are such geniuses.
Alas!
We have made our needs indispensable. We cannot do without it. We sleep with our phones next to us since we use it as our alarm clock. We keep it with us all the time since don't want to miss out on the phone calls and the daily scoop of news via the internet. We don't forget to carry it with us just as we don't forget to wear clothes every morning.
Consequences
Have we ever thought of the consequences it has on our planet?
Mobile towers and cell phones are posing a threat to honey bees with the emission of its electromagnetic radiation. There has been a decline in the beehive population, and IF we do not take the necessary measures for removing these mobile towers, bees could be wiped out.
Alarming Studies
Studies show that when a mobile phone/cell phone is kept near a beehive. The colony of bee collapses in five to ten days, with the worker bees failing to return home, leaving the hives with just queens, eggs and immature bees.
Now, we have all learnt the benefits of bees and pollination. But in this hustle bustle of today's world we have to pause and think that, if there are no bees then where will all the vegetation go?
Ponder over this
How will we thrive on this planet?
Whom will we talk to on our mobile phones if there isn't many left?
We have some serious problem on our hand right now, and either we limit our cell phone coverage or lose vegetation.
Choice is ours, and we have to draw a line soon before we all turn into cannibals.
