Desire is a want,
Desire could be a longing,
Desire makes one need.

Desire drives us mad,
Desire makes us fixated,
Desire is senseless!

Desire makes a soul,
Idiotic and extreme;
Revise your desires.
-----------------------------------------------------
Make life down-to-earth,
Pursue your dreams and aim high,
But you stay grounded!
------------------------------------------------------
Live in harmony
If destined, will come our way.
We will get our share!

Ruchira I don't know in which mood you have written this piece. Melancholy rules here. I am, because I desire. I will be not myself, if I do not desire. Desires propel me, desires make me do the unthinkable, desires make me aspire, desires make me understand love, desire makes me love myself. You say revise your desires. How can I? I cannot control my desires. They are my inner feelings. Be foolish enough to desire but sane enough not to live in them. This is great as always. Thanks friend for a lovely hub.
What desire shall I desire, if she comes to me,

I was in my best of moods and best of spirits while writing this Haiku :)
Desires sure help drive a soul but, we should not be after it and change our life 'cause of it. IF it is destined, it will come our way or else let's pick up the pieces and walk our way!
