Winning over a disability

Laura's arthritis has made her physically handicapped but she chooses to do her chores of the day with diligence by waking up an hour early than the usual to prepare breakfast and make lunch boxes for her family. With her swollen joints mobility is a challenge but she realizes that with time, they learn to obey her orders thus, is patient with them. Each day is a challenge for her since every morning there is a new agenda with her body. Sometimes, it is her knee or her hip or her shoulder that demands extra attention. Sure, she knows how to maneuver those parts but she needs time to train herself around it. Fortunate for her, she has enough time to do the needful.

She waves a jubilant good bye to her family when they leave for their respective day. This elation is not just the thought and wish for them to have a nice day but also the feeling of joy as she won her morning battle.

Yes, she won over her inflated parts that actually refuse to co-operate when her mind wants to do something. She was able to prepare and provide them with a nutritious snack and a meal.

Winning is not just a noun but is actually an adjective that makes her smile and be proud of herself while trying to pat her back for this success. Although to lift that shoulder and put it on her shoulder is another story, but sure she won since she fought for it amidst her physical weaknesses.

Winning is a Desire

Lavanya is just 16 years old but is fighting her battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She is a young but a brave soul as she tackles all those medicines that are pumped into her system to fight those bad and ugly cells. Her smile is not just stretching those muscles along her cheeks but also uplifts the mood and spirits of her parents as they watch her undergo this process. The long tedious procedure of chemo is finally coming to an end and she lifts her hands in celebration cause of her win.

She won her battle from those nasty cells, who refused to undergo traditional cell divisions in a body.

Who knew that living a common and a natural life could be so important for a man's survival. But, she won it! She managed to breathe through the treatment and exhaled off the toxicity by keeping that constant smile and vigor within her.

Her win is a testimony of her existence with her family and friends who treasure her presence. Her victory is sweet but the path was dark with lots of side effects that were accompanied with tears and yet the desire to live and see herself graduate.

Winning a competition

Leon is stretching himself before the big game. He is aware of his thoughts and wants to pace them even though they want to go on a drive at 75 miles/hour. His body is responding to his elongations and is co-operating to full extent. “I have to bring my team to a win!” he murmurs to himself “And I can do it? Leon can do it!” He continues with a low sound.

Whispering to himself has been uplifting to his spirits as if a mother stroking her child with love. Finally he hears his name call out, he takes a deep breath, and steps in the field with his cricket bat. Walks towards the pitch with confidence and waves at the crowd as if telling himself that no more thoughts are permitted.

He wants to just do it!

Perform like a lightening bolt and focus on his agenda.

After a few minutes, he is in action and is making runs with his batsman. Score is climbing and within a hour he is able to bring his team to a win.

A win that comprised of hard work and at the end of this labor, the fruit is sweet, which is termed as victory.

Man can account his win either to luck or karma amidst the hard work. Cause research has indicated that lady luck also plays a significant role.

Lady luck usually comes in the picture when someone is trying to achieve a dream job or while playing sports or even during a performance. Many factors play a pivotal role in this such as clarity, focus, confidence, and yet be grounded besides playing well. Now isn’t that a lot of things on the plate for a man thus, lady luck comes into the picture.

What does winning mean?

Winning is the end product when an individual self challenges himself or is in a competition.

Many strive hard towards a competition but it is the self-challenge that actually tests your capacity and amplitude to who you really are? There is no competitor in the dispute but what an individual receives at the end of this challenge is a climb up the ladder of self-growth. This ascend is a boost to his emotions as it fosters humility and help develop maturity, which opens up new opportunities for this individual to tread upon. This kind of mindset is an ideal path for a happily ever after life.

Winning in a competition will not always be a smooth sail. Today you win and maybe tomorrow you could lose the game but, if you continue to win in self challenges chances are that tomorrow when you lose a competition it won’t hurt or bother you cause you have climbed the ladder of self growth and that is so sweet that nothing in life can bother you! It is like being in a meditative state even if the physical world is blaring horns at you or at each other!

This kind of win is what will make you attain your fulfillment as a human being.
