What Happens to Our Soul, When We Die?

When we are born...

We are born on this earth with a body. This body in which we are born, gets a name. We are identified with a name. We groom our body while we are alive. Little do we think of grooming our soul which is imperishable. We spend so much money on our perishable item, the body. However, grooming is important, I don't deny that but we should spend some time on our inner self which will make a lasting impression especially when our body is no more on this earth. We will be remembered for the deeds we did, we will be remembered for the actions we performed, we will be remembered for the words we spoke, we will be remembered for the achievements we achieved. The memory of our body will be lost in this race.

When we die...

When we die, our body is left on the earth to be buried or cremated. What will remain of that person is his memories, his deeds, his actions, his achievements. The body is perishable so, it's gone. The Soul releases from the body when the person dies. The soul goes to heaven and the Almighty has a log book ready for us. We have to report all the deeds we did. We have to justify ourselves. Then our soul is re-born into another body within minutes. This body would be the body of an animal or bird or a human being. It depends on our deeds we did in our previous life-time. If we have done good deeds. Our Soul could become immortal. Our Soul could unify with the soul of the Almighty. We would not have to take birth in any form.

What is the meaning of life?

Life is such a challenge. We all are aware of all the hardships we go through. At one junction of time, when we don't really know whether to take a right or a left turn. We look up and say, "Why ME!!" But, all of us go through that challenge in our life time. And if our soul becomes immortal then the above question would not arise. However, I realize that doing good deeds all the time is not possible since this planet allows only those people to survive who are the fittest in health and wealth. Others get crushed and get flushed away in the toilet. It's sad, but it's so true. Wish there was some way that we could do good deeds without getting crushed by the competition.

When we hurt somebody, there is something inside us which kinda pinches. This pinch is our soul. When we can feel the pinch, that means our soul is alive and we should continue doing *some* good deeds. Try to figure out our way through this LIFE while we are alive by trying to keep our soul alive.

Gosh! besides the daily challenges, another challenge to keep our soul alive. Now, who says that LIFE is NOT an over-rated word.
