What is your Bucket List?

Updated on January 26, 2012

Life in a snapshot and after that..

When we were born, there was joy and happiness but then as everything good has to come to an end, we will bid Adios to our friends, family and end our journey of LIFE. We will go away, and our body will no longer be in existence however, our soul is irreplaceable and it will be lingering around our loved ones; looking over them and rejoicing with them in their happiness and sharing their sorrow and grief while enveloping them with a huge hug. But, while we are on the look out for our family and friends from above, will we be happy souls? will we be content? That depends on how we lived our LIVES. Besides, living for others, did we do stuff that made us happy? did we do things that we liked? did we do things that satisfied us? IF not, it is never too late to turn ourselves around to make a bucket list of our own and live for the series of things that we want to do before we say good bye.

We call our list to be a bucket list since, we have quite a few ambitions and desires in this lifetime.

My Bucket list comprises of happiness and ONLY happiness.

This happiness can be a state of mind which can help me stay happy and content even if I am in pain. This is the happiness I want. I want to stay happy in whatever condition my fate puts me in.I do sound very philosophical right now, but I have realized that with that state of mind; I will be in bliss since will be content even if I fall and hurt myself while doing the below things which I aim on doing in this lifetime; such as---

  • skydiving
  • going fishing
  • getting my book published
  • being able to make good friends in this life time
  • being able to succeed in my ambitions
  • see the success that I dream about; for myself and my family and friends
  • to be able to bear the thought of being sick and unhealthy and dependent on others
  • to be able to bear the loss of a dear one

Life is a word with such a deep meaning since it is a mixed bag of sorrows, grief, challenges, love, emotions, happiness, tragedy and tears. Everyday, we shake our heads with either of the above one adjective and admire Life with whatever it has to offer. We fall down when we face either of the above and get up with so much heart ache and therapies and medications.

I am already working on my Bucket List. It is never too late to make yours and to live each day well..

Good luck!!
